Dunluce Castle Ruins Photography Print | Black and White County Antrim Coast

This black and white Dunluce Castle print features broken walls and chimneys above the sea in County Antrim. Closely framed masonry, grass and jagged cliff ledges bring the Northern Irish ruins into coastal wall art.

I made the photograph in 2019, drawn to the strength of what remains and the openness surrounding it. The monochrome treatment brings the scene together through stone, light and shadow; its quieter tones also let the coastline breathe. For someone with a connection to Northern Ireland or a love of castle ruins, the image offers a recognisable place in an intimate, detailed view. It would suit a study or living space where its architectural forms can be enjoyed from across the room and its weathered surfaces discovered up close.
