Sunny day at Wasaga Beach Canada
This photograph looks across Wasaga Beach, Ontario, from a higher viewpoint. Families, umbrellas and small groups of people fill the sand, while swimmers and boats carry the scene out into Georgian Bay. I like the way the crowded foreground opens into a much quieter band of blue water.
From busy summer beaches to quieter lakes and towns, my Ontario wall art collection brings together more photographs of the province.
Wasaga Beach lies along the southern shore of Georgian Bay and is known for its long freshwater beach. The summer crowds are part of this picture's character. Each umbrella adds another patch of colour, but the broad view keeps the whole scene readable rather than concentrating on any one group.
For a quieter Ontario setting, see my Algonquin Provincial Park photographs. If you are drawn to the everyday activity in this frame, candid photography looks more closely at photographing moments as they happen.
Before planning a visit, check current Wasaga Beach visitor information for access and facilities. For prints that carry the same sense of open water, see my lake wall art collection.
