Higher up, similar forms become smaller and more widely spaced. Each sits at its own angle, so the arrangement never becomes a perfect grid. I find that variation important: it gives the repeated shapes a natural rhythm that follows the hill.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBlack and white makes the contrast between walls and terrain especially strong. The light facades stand out from dark grass, low plants and rough patches of ground. Open doors appear almost black, while closed shutters carry softer grey tones. Narrow paths and sloping spaces between the houses offer glimpses of how the separate levels meet.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA longer building runs across the lower edge, introducing a horizontal line beneath the smaller homes. Above them, the hillside continues without a visible skyline, keeping attention on the relationship between architecture and land.
