Some branches remain clearly outlined, while others almost disappear behind the pale curtains. I like how the autumn leaves emerge through those gaps in small clusters. Their warmer color brings the eye from one part of the grove to another, revealing details gradually instead of all at once.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAlong the bottom, the water provides a quieter edge. Reflections extend the trunks downward, but the scattered green surface breaks them into pieces. That small area is enough to show the trees in their wetland setting without drawing attention away from the grove.
