What drew me in was the way the colours sit together: dusty pink and grey across most of the wall, a strip of yellow near the top, and that small, clear blue shape at the centre. The faded Nuevo Centro lettering gives the image a strong graphic element, while the uneven surface keeps it from feeling too orderly.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTwo small number plaques sit to either side of the painted advertisement. They are easy to miss at first, but they help make this a particular wall rather than a general study of texture. Cracks, flaking edges and the remains of older colour give the eye many smaller details to follow. I like how the photograph holds both the original lettering and the marks that have accumulated around it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis colour Havana wall art works well for someone drawn to typography, urban surfaces or the quieter details of travel. It can bring a little blue and warm faded colour into an office, hallway or living room.
