I like the way the eye can move from a simple arch to a more complicated detail without leaving the overall arrangement.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBlack and white brings the stone surfaces and cloud shapes into the same tonal range. Deep shadows sit inside the arcade, while the upper walls remain lighter. The sky is full of changing grey, giving the formal architecture a softer, less predictable background.
