Beside the locked wooden entrance, a small window is covered with rough boards. Cream, tan, pale blue and traces of violet remain across the damaged wall. This colour photograph brings that weathered architectural detail into a close, straightforward view.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe door’s panels hold different shades of blue and turquoise, interrupted by darker wear along their edges. Above it, the wall has lost broad patches of plaster. Wires hang loosely across the surface, and a narrow division separates the doorway from the boarded window. At the base, staining and broken masonry add another band of texture.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI photographed this house in 2010. I am interested in surfaces that show their layers, where an earlier colour remains visible beneath a later one and a repair becomes part of the overall pattern. Here, the door gives the scene a strong point of focus, while the lighter wall leaves room to notice cracks, rough edges and small changes in tone.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFor someone drawn to old entrances, Indian places or architectural photographs with natural wear, this print can bring colour and character to a study or living room. It pairs easily with wood and other textured materials.
